Making news together

Argentys is proud to announce the completion of a project to provide software consulting services to develop algorithms for genomics analysis. The resulting system went live today in the Thermo Fisher Cloud. Thermo Fisher is the largest provider of sequencing instruments and reagents and engaged Argentys to provide scientific programming expertise, genomics algorithm experts, and biomedical domain expertise to design and develop a complete algorithm package for execution in the Amazon Cloud.  These algorithms support functions of Thermo’s Software-as-a Service (SaaS), web-based application.  Argentys provided support from research through acceptance.

Dr. Mazo, president of Argentys said, “It was an honor to participate with Thermo in developing this complex technology for execution in the Cloud.  We applied our Flexible Staffing approach to rapidly transition from R&D to production and to minimize the costs to our client by bringing compelling expertise by leveraging our broad network of technical and scientific expertise to deliver expertise and labor as-needed to the project.  Argentys managed independent subcontractors to complete tasks, by providing direction and supervision, inspecting work, and integrating individual components into a whole.  This approach along with Argentys’ scientific programming knowledge and project management skills enabled rapid and cost effective development of this complex capability.”
